Boston Bruin Milan Lucic Talks NHL Winter Classic

It has become a New Year's Day tradition: The NHL Winter Classic takes the game outside to a venue not known for flying pucks and sticks (Buffalo's Ralph Wilson Stadium, Chicago's Wrigley Field) and brings its players back to the joys of pond hockey.

This year (technically the third Winter Classic, although the league did host an outdoor game dubbed "The Heritage Classic" between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers in 2003) , Boston's legendary Fenway Park is playing host to a tilt between the hometown Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers,

Taking center stage at the game will be Milan Lucic, a third-year player who has already become a fan favorite in Beantown (note the "I Love Lucic" shirts and the Southie-tinged cries of "Looch is a MONSTAH!" from the stands) thanks to his hard-nosed play and ability to score as well as he hits. Here, we sit down to discuss the weather, the curse of Fenway, and, of course, the glorious cinematic accomplishments of Cam Neely.
